| What arrogance! UNRWA runs out of the special plastic bags to ship banned sugar supplies to Hamas, so they complain to Israel!! UNRWA has long been ordered by Israel to stop shipping Gaza sugar, because Hamas uses most of it to make rocket fuel. They not only ignore Israel`s directive (legally binding since they use Israeli crossings, roads and ports), but have been smuggling nitrates as well (the other kassam fuel ingredient). So Israel is putting UNRWA out of business. Refined sugar is a luxury, junk calories with no value in human nutrition. There`s no substitute for it in kassam manufacture. Same with UN-smuggled nitrate fertilizer; substitutes work for farming, not for kassam manufacture. UNRWA has been aiding and abetting the kassam attacks, and Israel is within its legal right to shut them down. Geneva Conventions regarding "occupation" only apply when the fighting has stopped, not during active hostilities. If Gaza doesn`t like that, they can SURRENDER. Can`t have it both ways! |
