My guess is Egypt told the Americans that if Israel did not normalise the border crossings and allow humanitarian aid and fuel into Gaza. Egypt would open the Rafah crossing point and Israel would lose all control of what goes in and out of Gaza.
Which is why Barak ordered the border crossings open tonight.
Olmert couldn`t punch his way out of a wet paper bag with a hole in it. He has no concept of how to defeat terrorism or hamas. Israelis need to get rid of him and quickly.
HAMAS needs to be defeated so that a two state solution can be achieved. It is what you want, isn`t it? |
