`you are talking here about two groups (Hizbollah & Hamas) who are defined in the Geneva Convention as Unlawful Combatants` The phrase "unlawful combatant" does not appear in the Third Geneva Convention. In any case N.Durson writes about civilians. If unarmed they are clearly not combatants of any kind.
