| His name was Maayan e. He was just 18 and died in an accident. His organs were donated to 5 Israelis, 2 of which are Israeli Arabs. One of the men (an Arab) calls the mom each friday to ask about her and her family. She doesn`t know what to say. Perhaps this means little to many but, it is typical of those who silently do the right thing in order to save more lives, even those who are considered enemies. Perhaps the gift of life is blind and perhaps also, this must be pleasing to G-d in the highest. This must speak volumes of the love that is shared by a family in mourning. How much more elevating this act is over the constant call to "Death to Israel" "Death to America" we see and hear from Israels enemies. There is a great difference, life or death. |
