Plain and simple, Gaza is unoccupied territory under the control of Hamas, Hamas is sworn to the destruction of Israel, Hamas seeks to kill Israelies, including its citizens, including its children; these aren`t idle threats as suicide bombers have illustrated in the past and as the rockets presently demonstrate; the people of Gaza chose Hamas as its government knowing its hellish and demented bent. Gazans are not nearly as innocent as they have been made out to be. Israelies on the other hand are being collectively targeted. This stark truth can be ignored but only at the peril of mortally stigmatizing the integrity of the U.N.
