Although neither refined sugar nor potassium nitrate fertilizer are essential "humanitarian" materials, UNRWA has apparently been defying Israeli demands and supplying both to Gaza. These two substances are essential ingredients in kassam rocket propellant, can not be replaced or manufactured in Gaza. So "aid" shipments are causing the "humanitarian" problem -- rockets hitting Sderot civilians, and Israeli needing to defend itself. The UN needs to put a stop to this immediately, fire the entire UNRWA management team who aided and abetted this, and be ready to both 1) pay for the entire cost of bag-by-bag inspection of aid shipments to prevent a repitition, and 2) compensate Israel for the rocket damage to its towns caused by UNRWA ignoring the ban on sugar and nitrate importation into Gaza. If the UN wants to do neither, it can try to supply Gaza without using Israeli ports or soil from which to operate, because it is Israel`s right to refuse if UNRWA won`t abide by Israeli rules.
