| In trying to solve or at least deal with what seems to many to be an intractable dilemma-how Israel can be both fully democratic and Jewish. They are interested in listening to voices that Jewish organisations have for decades simply blocked out. They will be met, from both sides, usually religious fundamentalists, by resistance. This should not discourage them in their noble work in confronting a problem which can no longer be ignored or propagandised by aplogists for what is a blatantly discriminatory reality in Israeli society. |
