At least one person in the government is willing to do more than offer lip service on commitments and our desire for peace. Can`t say I`m overly optimistic, but at least with some serious officials involved, we might have a chance to actually accomplish something.
(Let`s be clear, I don`t solely blame the Israeli government for past failures in negotiations, but we definitely have a unique opportunity now and we definitely could be doing more... and this fact has no relation whatsoever to what the Palestinians are and aren`t doing.) |
