I don`t understand why a tenured XVIIth century French literature professor with mediocre publications makes the same amount of money as a tenured computer science professor with top tier papers.
I don`t understand why if a professor gets offered better conditions abroad, the university administration`s hands are tied to put together a counter-offer if they want.
And I REALLY don`t understand exactly what Yuli Tamir thinks her job is if education from the high school level up was paralyzed for the last 3 months and all she visibly does is smile for the cameras.
Whether or not the strike ends today, heads should roll for this one. |
