No. Because I`m against censorship on talkbacks except in the most extreme circumstances. There`s some anti-semitic garbage on Haaretz`s talkback, just as there is some extremist anti-Arab garbage as well. However, it`s important to know what people really think.
On a second point, I`m fascinated by this concept that the BBC is like a TV version of Der Sturmer, peddling vicious anti-semitic propaganda at every opporrunity. I`ve watched it, and other UK and foreign news stations all my life and while the BBC`s occasionally critical of Israel, it`s also critical of Arab countries and the Pals and I`ve certainly never seen anything that`s anti-Jewish. |
