a bunch of useless folks are the so called "leaders" who themselves were academic failures and high-school dropouts. Tamir, the minister, would not have gotten tenure in any research I university in the USA because her record of publications is too thin and has not published in top journals, but she is in charge... and Bar-on, well, he is not very bright, is he? Olmert is a lawyer, and not much vision, to say the least.
the professors are also political idiots! If they were as good as they think they are, then why oppose to a system of merit, with peer evaluations of quality of research/publications and committees awarding raises based on accomplishments and not on friendships and protexia.
