| It should be clear by now that Israel`s problem is that it knows it is the Jewish national home but is trying to enforce itself as a Jewish state. If it really cleared its mind and had a long-term view instead of short-term expediency, Israel would also see itself as the Palestinian national home. As a Jewish-American I would not recognize the US as a Christian state. As an African-American I would not recognize the US as a white state. As a Native-American I would not recognize the US as a European state. Why should Native-Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state just because its ideology is so small-minded and short-sighted? |
