Its mostly about envy and greed.
For Israel to be a Jewish homeland is totally OK that was the deal and that what was accepted by the enlightened world [were they not happy to see us go?]. It cannot be anything else. Minorities have to be respected in a fair way and they have in their turn to respect the state.
Things are going wrong on that end. Since the "nakbah" became a public display of discontentment with there being an Israel at all, we have been going downhill from there.
There could be a little more appreciation for the advantages this country still has for ALL its citizens above our neighbours. |
