Writing is not action, that is the whole point of the pen, to express thought without resorting to any kind of action. Now if I yell fire in crowded theatre, this thought is directly and causally linked to the action, but with talkbackers this is hardly the case. Everyone knows that such forums are to hear all sorts of idea`s, most being outlandish. Barring someone from an actual and personal threat I believe a thought police, with the new tach that the internet brings that new technology in which you talk of, the flipside is that now the police can have a thought database, marking all those that pose potential threat to ruling structure and thus with this information may be able to neutralize it. It is quite funny the left that will vigorously defend palestinian rights will in the same breath deny their brothers the same protection.WHY?? |
