| This is definitely the most realistic article I have ever read in Haaretz about the current negotiations on the core issues . Israel Harel is absolutely right to say there is no point for negotiations unless the palestinians and especially the Israeli Arabs accept and recognise the basic fact that Israel is a Jewish state, a homeland for the Jewish people with a united Jerusalem remaining its eternal capital.Olmert is leading the country to self-destruction and he must be stopped now before it is too late.I congratulate Harel on his excellent article which is rather unusual to read in Haaretz.
