Israelis may look into building geodesic homes on new land recovered and cleared from terror rocket launch sites. These are great homes and some come as ready to build kits.
Geodesic homes require more land per family than the traditional apartment block homes. But they are defensible and much more efficient. A good part of the home is underground and is easier to keep cool with drip watering of the ground. Open areas of the home could be built to face the Gaza Strip direction at +90 and -90 degrees angles, for additional safety. Start to read and research:
