| When Palestinians kill or attack Israeli soldiers or civilians they are dealt with by military courts, often unfairly. It is right that they should be held accountable but it should be done according to universal principles of administration of Justice. When Israeli settlers attack Palestinians or Israeli and international peace activists or even the police they are routinely let off the hook. No wonder that such impunity over many years has led to a situation where settlers feel they can behave as they like because the law has never applied to them like it does to other decent, hard-working Israeli tax payers. |
