Cipora,

Your point is well-taken, thank you. I have no doubt opening the archives will reopen wounds for many, both Germans and Jews.

Although I am of neither group (I am British and COE, and as a boy lived in London through the War, where its terror was particularly savage), my own wounds never truly healed; so I can well understand the desire to let the balm of time work its miracle.

But I sincerely hope no-one *ever* forgets Germany`s misdeeds and atrocities during that time - not to shame the Germans of today or tomorrow, but to serve as a cautionary fable to all Mankind that such evils must never be allowed to return anywhere, at any time.

Kind regards.
