| The battle over the outposts is political. It is an attempt to defy Israeli law and demonstrate to the world that the security forces are incapable of enforcing its authority against Jews only. When it comes to Israeli Arabs or Palestinian Arabs, of course it is an entirely different matter. Those who protest loudly against the courts and police and and the same time defy Israeli law are fomenting disrespect for the law. Not recognizing the law, as an excuse for not giving their names,as the teen-age "martyrs" are doing, is something that no democratic person should admire nor emulate. |
