Living under a rock by the look of things. 2002: These particular Arabs come up with the "Saudi Plan", which they then present as a way to "reach out" to Israel for the express purpose of "nudging Middle East Peace" along. The result? Sharon didn`t even acknowledge it - treats it with contempt - while the zionist apologists go into apoplexy claiming "It`s a trap! It`s a trap!". 2006: ALL the Arabs get together and they ALL repackage it as the "Arab Initiative", and - notwithstanding their previous knockback - presented it AGAIN as a way for Israel to gain the peace that she *claims* she craves. The result? Olmert ums, and aws, and shuffles his feet, and finally says "I can`t understand what this is all about - here, come and explain it to me.." And - of course - the zionist apologists go into apoplexy claiming "It`s a trap! It`s a trap!". The "Arabs" have been TRYING, Condi, and it ain`t THEIR fault that Israel ain`t listening. |
