We need more films that promote dialogue. Few Americans realize for example, that Muslim believe in Jesus Christ, but that they believe he was a prophet, or that the Virgin Mary is mentioned more times in the Koran than in the Bible! I was surprised about that one!
Ignorance breeds bigotry and hatred. Muslims do not hate or want to kill everyone and Jews do not make matza ball soup from Christian children for the Sabbath (remember that one! How silly!)
Let us hope that this conflict we are having today, in the long run, create an atmosphere of mutual respect and admiration. We need more GI coming back with a knowledge of Islam and even perhaps Muslim wives! :)
