Title:# 1 to a proud israeli re: peace

there are two ways of viewing it:
short term...
and long term.

short term will lead to drastic changes of people`s perspective of israel, incuding the majority of the palestinians. it will however, also include the basis for your concerns. the change will not happen overnight as if the wand of peace was waved magically and all conflict was erased. that will most likely not happen...

but...
over the long run israel`s security WILL be enhanced, and with progressives from both sides working together hand-in-hand, the exremists of both sides, will eventually end up mute, and once their attraction begins to fade, they`ll begin to lose their ability to act.

and for israel, doing so would also remove barriers and open the doors for peaceful coexistence and mutually beneficial ties among its neighbors.

decisions made today will inevitably affect the outcome of tomorrow. no one can change the past, but the future is a blank page that is always waiting a positive change; because as long as the situation stays the same...a threat to israel`s security will forever remain.
