| haredim should support judaism in israel (1) by working and stopping excessive torah scholarship. torah scholarship cannot be the entire way of life for a whole segment of the population. the torah expects the people to work. (2) by serving in the army. completely ridiculous to expect others to defend you. (3) by promoting beliefs by convincing people, rather than taking over state bureaucracies by political scheming and forcing views on others. |
