| Before 2000 second intifada, unemployment in palestinian areas was less than European Union (statistics from palestinian and UN offices). The palestinian GNP was the highest. Dozens of thousands workers crossed every day to work in Israel and in joint factories. All suddenly vanished with Arafat decision : he did not accept the improvement of his people-s conditions of life due to agreement with Israel. |
