MS-ogynist Mag nixes Israeli accomplished women ad: Is there a Shariah-Daddy in the Wings?
With reference to the lamentable but unsurprising thumbs-down to the Three-women ad, my realization is I can no longer proffer my nun`s habit for the cause. "Feminism" is nothing I can recognize.
MS famously nixed a simple ad featuring three Knesset members, one that bore an elegantly understated headline: This is Israel.
In turning the ad down?money! For a mag tottering on bankruptcy?they claimed it would ?set off a firestorm,? they could not put it in their oddly defined feminist rag.
MS, as a stand-in for the values of old on this issue, has blindsided itself into a cul-de-sac. If MS can`t champion the beaten, raped, murdered women of shariah`s minions; condemn the defenestration of homosexuals; condemn female genital mutilation~what are they? Where are they? In the heart of even the most ardent MS-ogynist is a frozen zone for Israel. Instead of boosting shariah: Sha shtill, MS-haps. |
