Appreciate capturing details of rhetoric from the Republican candidates, but it was Huckabee who was first asked about Iran. He responded strongly with mention that the next thing the boats would see would be gates of Hell. It was Thompson who then followed with a more under the breath response that those on the boats would see those virgins. Interestingly, Huckabees answer was based more upon fact and tenets of his own belief -- Thompson`s were based only in humor, and the erroneous beliefs of the Iranians (the notion of virgins is a mis-reading of the Koran in the first place.).
