Does anyone know how much of the world`s supply of oil and gas Iran could cut off in retaliation for an attack? Throwing the world into economic recession, apparently for no reason now that the US intelligence agencies have "cleared" it of running a bomb program, would not sit well with the American people. Woe be to Israel if it starts an unnecessary war that throws the US into a deep recession and doubles gasoline prices.
It would be good to see analysis of the gas affair involving Turkmenistan and Turkey. Turkmenistan cut off gas supplies to Iran, and then Iran cut off gas supplies to Turkey. Did the US manipulate Turkmenistan to do this? Did Iran want to show that it can fight back and hurt an ally of the US in retaliation for US acts against it? |
