| We speak here in the US of prisoners having the key to the jail in their pocket when all they have to do is to accept the court`s judgment to leave. If these worthy young maidens wish to make a point and stay in jail until they can leave on their own terms (disregarding the law and the power of the judicial system), by all means they should be allowed to do so. As Dr. King pointed out, when you engage in civil disobedience you should be willing to pay the rice. |
