| When I left Canada, smoking had been banned in all public venues, not just restaurants, in Ontario. It was sort of weird seeing people attached to oxygen machines to help with their emphysema standing outside hospitals in mid-winter, clutching the cigarettes that had caused their disease. The shirts were overkill as a protest against banning smoking. Such a bann does not compare with the slaughter carried out under Hitler`s regime, and it was not relegated solely to Jews. |
