| Anti-semitism was probably the reason for their actions. There are other cemeteries in the area and, apparently those were not touched. And if you think this was bad, wait until Israel disappears from the map and we in the Diaspora have no place of refuge. We will be barred from living in certain areas, attending the universities of our choice, denied access to clubs, golf courses, etc. In other words we will return to the period preceding the 1930s, a period I recall with horror. |
