George. In America the soldiers who "go to the front" are NOT the cannon fodder of your day(I am assuming by your term that you are an older person). Todays American young men and women who "go to the front" in Iraq, are smart. Well trained. Well motivated. Marvelously equiped and have a clear and well rounded personal history. Delinquents or street criminals generally NOT allowed in todays all volunteer military; some branches of which have long waiting lists for entry and tough competetive tests for entrance. These clown are not fit to clean latrines of America`s military. I think a job at repairing the damage, followed by a reasonably moderate stint in the slam should do nicely for these morons. Understanding that we know nothing about their history so far; however; if this is part of a greater design, the Mikado`s ruling comes into play.
