Why did Sharon throw Jews out of Northern Shomron. Why didn`t he keep the Northern Gaza settlements.
Everyone(almost) agrees that the pullout, and especially the way the pullout was conducted, from Gush Katif was a collosal stupid mistake.
You should not have to put your hand in the fire to know that it will get burnt and Sharon was told that his moves were a mistake for Israel (though it kept him out of jail). Will it mean that Judea and Samaria do not become a Palestinian State? If so it will not be because of Sharon but in spite of him and what he did. |
