| If Israel wanted to end the Qassam threat it would have been over long ago. Israel needs this threat in order to continue to avoid peace. The Qassam threat isn`t much of a threat, but it is the only threat that the Palestinians can muster at the moment. Without it, Israel would have far less latitude in avoiding peace, giving up expansion, and starting the west bank withdrawal. |
