The sandstone cliffs along Israels` Mediterranean coast such as in Herzliya and Netanya are dissintergrating.The reasons are both wave action and rainwater runoff.something must be done to stop this natural process and keep this loss of land with all what`s on the cliffs; In the case of Apollonia these are antiquities.If the municipality`s plan engenders opposition in the ministry of environmental affairs let it come up with a better plan.All this before it`s too late for the cliffs.
