There are millions of Jews, including large numbers who are very traditional in outlook and appearance. In any large group there will be a wide range of attitudes. Among those who lost the most during the Holocaust there is a deep distrust on non-Jews and this can come out in negative behaviour, even from generations born after the Holocaust. I work within the ultra-Orthodox community and I can tell you that at least 90% are above the national average in their morals and ethics.
