There is a defence against Qassems, Israel has decided not to acquire it because of the cost. Also it is politically expedient for Israel to be hit by these harmless missiles because it allows Israel to wallow in victimhood.
Which is particularly useful when the world is telling you to end the illegal occupation of Palestine.
I expect Nethanyahoo (who left London yesterday, spends more time here than in Israel) to start declaring that there is no partner for peace over the next 48 hours.
