| Josef Cohen you are lying and misleading the public with your answer. "Ms. Haas seems to be unaware that it is an absolute and unequivocal right of any sovereign state to control entry." Entry on its territory! Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem are not in Israel, they are occupied Palestinian territories. The whole world, the UN and a majority of Israelis know and admit this fact. "Dr. Barghouti is neither a resident or citizen of Israel. Israel is free to choose to admit him or not." Dr. Barghouthi did not try to enter Israel, he tried to enter occupied East Jerusalem, the place where he was born! Israel is not soverign on the occupied Palestinian territories, it is an occupying power and it is violating intenational law (treaties that Israel signed!). |
