If the Israelis are really interested in peace, then the least that Livni can offer in the coming "negotiations" is the return of ALL the lands captured during the 1967 war. The Jewish settlers in the West Bank. East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Sheba farms can remain there if they so wish; but, they will have to be citizens of Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. The Palestinian refugees can then be asorbed in these liberated lands. And it will only be fair to get the British government to pay compensation to the returnees. Why British? Because they are the people who were really behind the Palestinian "catastrophe." |
