Ms. Haas seems to be unaware that it is an absolute and unequivocal right of any sovereign state to control entry.
Dr. Barghouti is neither a resident or citizen of Israel. Israel is free to choose to admit him or not.
It may not always be fair but that is the way of the world. It happens all the time. People are refused visas and entry without explanation.
Israel like every other state is not obliged by Ms. Hass` imagined standard that the burden of proof is on the state before entry can be denied. |
