but my point was that people like me, who actually love Israel but don`t happen to be either jews by descent or right wing bigots, are prevented from becoming involved. As to where I might end up if I was involved, the answer is that as long as I am not required to be a right winger (or an orthodox convert) I am quite keen to become an israeli. It`s a gorgeous culture, after all, despite the hype.
But first of all I would appreciate a hebrew course not dependent upon the good will of the right wing establishment. |
