| In the heart of Europe, after two world wars, Yugoslavia fell appart; so did Czekoslovakia; Belgium is on the brink of falling appart. Spain has regions, and not only the Basques, that want at the very least autonomy. Other than that, many ethnic groups, religious groups, want separation and a state of their own. The only way to achieve peace between Israelis and Palsetinians is through separation. This is what recent history teaches us. People need the security that their identities provide them with. It is sad, but inevitable. |
