| So now "Who is a Jew?" is going to be determined according to the policy needs of a nation-state? I don`t agree with the current way conversions are handled, but this is a religious matter NOT a matter of how many immigrants Israel needs nor a matter of what`s best for Israel`s social fabric. Israel is not the same as Judaism or Torah. Every new attempt to make them synonymous is a step is the direction of Iran. |
