| Jewishness is not a religion. There are probably many Jews with some different religions or sects. Among Western Jews, some are more primitive, superficial and formal, like Ultra-orthodox and Orthodox. Some are in the middle, like conservatives, and some try to adapt old fashioned traditions to this time like Reforms. Many Jews do not participate in any of them. Nowadays there is a Jewish nation that for some political reason recognizes the religion of some Jews, while discriminate others including Ethiopians ancient Jewry, Conservatives and Reforms.
