If I remember rightly the only friends that Hitler had in Europe was Italy, and Benito Moussolini Dictactor of italy and Conqueror of Abbysinia and he waited to enter the war until he truly believed that France had been defeated.
As I understand it there were quite a few Jews living in Palestine before the creation of the State of Israel by the UN.
