Why would Haaretz choose to highlight this Reuters article when the exact same topic was covered by its own reporter, Avi Issacharoff, just a few hours ago? Perhaps on reflection, the anecdotal refutations were viewed as disingenuous.
I had previously made the observation that no one really expects impartiality and justice from this
brutal state and poster "Dany" invited me to respond to his contention that Muslim justice is even more brutal.
With all respect Dany, that`s evading the issue. Israel holds itself out to be the only functioning democracy in the ME and yet its actions clearly contradict that position - it discriminates against its Arab citizens and in the case of these tribunals provides the most blatant of Kangaroo Courts. There are many other Israeli hypocrisies but that will do for now. |
