Abbas is in a bad position. Kissing the posterior of Bush and Olmert has gotten him nothing except to make him look like a traitor.
The House of Saud is intent upon recreating the `unity` government which was destroyed when Fatah attempted to assassinate the Gaza leadership of Hamas, causing the brief civil war there which Hamas won.
Abbas needs all the help he can get as Bush and Olmert continue to undermine him and everyone in the world with a brain in their head got the message of Annapolis - NO PEACE, NO WAY!
The Saudis seem to be looking beyond the Bush Junta and Olmert Incompetency.
