| Since I was at Concordia University, when Arab rioters, aided by the Quebec police, prevented Bibi Netanyahu from speaking, I disregard any comments coming from the Province of Quebec. And I refer people to Mordecais Richler`s brilliant expose of the long history of anti-semitism from that province, first published in The New Yorker. For those people who are unacquainted with this phenomenon, the rise of the Parti Quebecois --with its anti-semitic policies -- forced many Jews to leave the province, along with the English speaking companies that employed them. The party`s leader blamed Jews for the province`s failure to approve dissolving its association with the rest of Canada. |
