Sure, Fayyad can claim that he is installing some form of calm in Nablus: but the Casbahis still in the hands of Hamas and other spliters.
Now, would not be nice to wait for the terrorists sending the Qassam into the center of Israel, killing and maiming douzens if not hundreds of Israelis, and then receiving an excuse from Fayyad and Co. for the death and destruction?
I think that it was inevitable for IDF to try and reduce to the minimum any harm to the general population.
Facts are facts and they speak for themselves: Nablus might seem tranquil for Mr. Fayyad, but the terrorists are getting ready to say otherwise. |
