| CW: "How would it have all looked if Hezbollah had stopped firing back?" Colin, time to read up on the aftermath of the IAF`s little "oops, sorry!" moment in Qana. Israel announced a 48 hour halt to airstrikes; Hezbollah ceased rocket fire for the entire 48 hours, and Israel.... well, Israel didn`t even last 24 hours before it started dropping bombs on Tayba, Tyre, Kila and Hermel. But Israel did apologize for breaking its self-imposed ceasefire, so I guess that makes it alright. Apparently you can break a ceasefire, you see, if you say you are sorry afterwards.... Apparently. |
