Said as it is, you are correct. The problem is the timing, how can Barak wait another year with the "Hermit" creating more political turmoil under the misguise that he is in control of the ever downward spiraling of Israelˇs safety vis a vis Hamas and its Katyushas. I believe that Barak should remain at his post and concentrate on security first and formost. Leave the politics to his fellow Labour heavyweights who will need partners in order to form a new coalition. Barak has to prove that he is capable of securing Gaza today, otherwise the Likud will not need his party in a coalition. |
